Consultant for 3 years at the Turner Fairbank Highway Research Center (a division of the Federal Highway Administration), overseeing the editorial production of more than 200 research reports and technical publications annually. Directed contractors, technical representatives, editors, and researchers in the production of quality publications. Managed the production of the annual report.

Project coordinator and senior/writer editor at Walcoff & Associates, a prominent government consulting firm. Managed increasing levels of responsibility and constantly shifting priorities. Serving as managing editor of two quarterly newsletters, which involved creating both from the ground up, managing the entire production cycle; generating story ideas and themes; writing, editing, and coordinating drafts; and managing quality control
