Phrases, a Maryland-based communications company, was launched in
1997 to provide editorial and creative services for a diverse clientele,
ranging from government agencies to large private-sector corporations,
consulting firms, small businesses, nonprofit organizations, and
individuals. Turning Phrases specializes in health and education,
with additional expertise in a variety of other subject areas.
Before founding my own company, I spent more than 15 years working in several editorial capacities in a variety of publishing venues, including two consulting firms, a public relations company, a recruiting firm, and a literary magazine.
